ent Recep Tayyip Erdogan signed a decree appointing a new ambassador to Turkmenistan. The corresponding decision was published in Resmi Gazete.
According to the document, Şener Cebeci, who previously held the position of Deputy Director General of the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs responsible for Central Asian countries, has been appointed as the new Turkish Ambassador to Turkmenistan.
He will replace Ahmet Demirok, who has headed the Turkish embassy in Ashgabat since October 2023.
By the same decree of the head of the Turkish state, Razzie Bilge Kocyigit, who previously held the post of Director General for Foreign Policy Planning and Coordination at the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, was appointed Permanent Representative of Türkiye to the Council of Europe.
