The Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in Ashgabat has announced a search for a female security guard. The position is open from early August 2026.

Duties include screening visitors at the embassy entrance, using appropriate security equipment, and performing security duties, including receiving and checking incoming mail.

Desirable qualities in a candidate include good health and stress resistance, polite and confident behavior, a neat appearance, an impeccable reputation, reliability, and a willingness to maintain confidentiality. Knowledge of German or English at a minimum level of A2 is required, with a good command of German considered an advantage. Professional experience in the security field is an added advantage.

The workweek will be 40 hours, Monday through Friday. Salary will be determined in accordance with the embassy's staffing schedule.
