French luxury house Louis Vuitton has unveiled a travel trunk for transporting and displaying the 2026 FIFA World Cup trophy. The company has been named the official supplier and brand licensee of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, unveiling an official, exclusive chest designed to transport and display the most recognizable trophy in sport. Louis Vuitton has been creating a similar case for every tournament since 2010, FIFA reports.

The chest is entirely handcrafted in Asnieres-sur-Seine, a historic suburb of Paris, home to workshops that have been in operation since the XIX century. The body is covered in the brand's signature monogram canvas, and the corners and locks are crafted from gilded brass—a nod to the brand's chests from the 1860s. A leather "lozine" border runs along the edges of the bag. The facade is adorned with a large, hand-painted gold "V," representing both Victory and Vuitton. The interior is lined with light beige leather, and the lid features a commemorative patch with the Louis Vuitton x FIFA collaboration logo.

Traditionally, the trophy chest will be carried onto the field during the 2026 FIFA World Cup final, accompanied by a Louis Vuitton ambassador and a FIFA legend – a protocol that has been in place since 2010.
Louis Vuitton also released a limited edition of three pieces inspired by the cup case design: the Coffret 8 Montres, a watch case for eight watches; the Cotteville 16 Montres, a spacious case for watch collectors; and the Malle Courrier Lozine 110, a travel chest with multiple compartments for clothing and textiles. All three pieces can be personalized with initials.
