Within the framework of the events held in Baku to mark the centenary of the First Turkological Congress, a methodological meeting of library heads from Turkic states took place at the National Library of Azerbaijan. Enejan Geldyeva, Director of the Centralized Library System of the Ashgabat City Department of Culture, and Lachyn Nurmuhammedova, Deputy Director of the State Library of the State Cultural Center of Turkmenistan, took part in the event.

The meeting addressed the future enhancement of the digital network connecting libraries, as well as the exchange of information regarding cultural events and news organized by the libraries via their official websites.

A presentation of a bibliographic publication dedicated to the centenary of the First Turkological Congress also took place here.

During the events, tours of Baku, historical monuments, and the Carpet Museum were organized for the participants, according to the website of the Ministry of Culture of Turkmenistan.
