During an expanded government meeting reviewing the results of the first half of the year, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov instructed officials to ensure the stability of the national currency and improve the efficiency of state funds management. Hojamyrat Geldymyradov, the Deputy Prime Minister overseeing the financial and economic sector, received the relevant instructions. This was reported by the State News Agency of Turkmenistan.

"President Serdar Berdimuhamedov also emphasized that, in order to ensure sustainable economic growth, special attention must be paid to maintaining a stable exchange rate for the national manat," the statement says.

The Head of State also highlighted the importance of developing the tax system to ensure state budget stability and full tax collection, strengthening oversight of the targeted use of budget funds, and ensuring the timely preparation of the draft state budget for the coming year.

In addition, the head of state pointed to the need to consistently increase the volume of investment directed into the economy, improve banking operations, and expand the range of digital services provided.
