On July 9, Rashid Meredov, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, held a telephone conversation with Maka Bochorishvili, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, the Georgian Foreign Ministry reports.

During the conversation, the parties discussed issues of bilateral cooperation, as well as aspects related to the upcoming visit of the President of Turkmenistan to Georgia.

Particular attention was paid to the importance of developing cooperation between Georgia and the countries of Central Asia.

The parties noted the prospects for further strengthening bilateral relations and emphasized the importance of maintaining high-level dialogue.
