The British Embassy in Ashgabat announced the start of accepting applications for participation in the Chevening scholarship program for the 2027–2028 academic year. The diplomatic mission reminded that Chevening is not just an opportunity to study in the UK, but a global network of outstanding leaders united by shared values, world-class knowledge and ties to the United Kingdom, who are working together to solve the world's most pressing challenges and promote sustainable development.

The programme organisers note that it is open to those who share Chevening's values and have a realistic plan to promote positive change in areas that are a priority for Turkmenistan and the UK.

The application period will open on August 4 and close on October 6.
