ISS orbit height increased by 1,9 km

The orbit of the International Space Station (ISS) was adjusted and increased by 1,9 km, Roscosmos reported.

As noted in the state corporation, on July 1 at 23:49 Moscow time, the engines of the "Progress MS-34" ship turned on, which worked for 567,8 seconds and gave a pulse of 1,10 m/s.

According to Roscosmos, after the correction, the height of the station's orbit was 419,89 km above the Earth's surface. The maneuver was carried out on the eve of the launch of the "Soyuz MS-29" spacecraft and the landing of the "Soyuz MS-28" descent vehicle.

Roscosmos cosmonauts Sergei Kud-Sverchkov (TASS special correspondent), Sergei Mikaev and Andrei Fedyaev, NASA astronauts Christopher Williams, Jessica Meir and Jack Hathaway, and European Space Agency astronaut Sophie Adeno are currently working on the ISS.
