Trade Union Delegation of Turkmenistan Participates in the ITCILO Programme “Trade Union Education for the Future”

Representatives of the National Centre of Trade Unions of Turkmenistan are taking part in the programme “Trade Union Education for the Future: Exploring ITCILO Learning Solutions”, held in Turin, Italy.

The programme is jointly organized by the International Training Centre of the International Labour Organization (ITCILO) and the ILO Bureau for Workers’ Activities (ACTRAV). It brings together trade union delegations from Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan.

The programme aims to familiarize participants with innovative approaches to trade union education, modern learning methodologies and practical training solutions developed by the ITCILO to strengthen the capacity of workers' organizations.

Throughout the programme, participants explore the ITCILO training model, innovative learning design, digital learning tools and interactive educational methods. Special attention is given to the use of artificial intelligence in education, leadership development, and the ILO's technical programmes on international labour standards, social protection, social dialogue, employment policy and gender equality. The programme also includes collaborative workshops focused on designing practical learning solutions and action plans tailored to the needs of participating countries.

Participation in this programme provides the delegation of Turkmenistan with an opportunity to exchange experiences with colleagues from other countries, strengthen international cooperation and gain practical knowledge that will contribute to the further development of trade union education in Turkmenistan.

The knowledge and experience acquired during the programme will support the National Centre of Trade Unions of Turkmenistan in enhancing its educational activities, introducing innovative learning approaches and further strengthening cooperation with the International Labour Organization.
