President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev congratulated the National Leader of the Turkmen people and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, on his birthday, noting that cooperation between the two countries in priority areas will continue to develop. This was reported by the State News Agency of Turkmenistan.

"I am convinced that, thanks to our joint efforts, cooperation in such priority areas as trade, industry, transport, energy, water management, culture, science, and technology will continue to develop," the message states.

Mirziyoyev noted that the comprehensive and long-standing relations between the two fraternal nations have reached a qualitatively new level in recent years across all priority areas. According to him, constant high-level contacts and the full implementation of reached agreements serve to further deepen the strategic partnership between the two states.

The leader of Uzbekistan also emphasized that, thanks to the far-sighted policy of Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, the standing of neutral Turkmenistan on the international stage is steadily growing, and its constructive work is being consistently continued by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov.
