Delegates of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan are participating in the seminar "Enhancing the Role of Legislative Bodies and Strengthening China-Central Asia Cooperation," which is being held in Beijing from June 22 to 28.

According to the Mejlis website, the seminar was organized by the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress of the People's Republic of China for members of parliament from Central Asian countries.

The purpose of this seminar is to strengthen inter-parliamentary relations between the countries of the Central Asian region and China, to exchange views on the legislative system, and to discuss important issues of interregional cooperation.

The seminar also aims to coordinate development strategies and promote mutually beneficial and inclusive economic cooperation, taking into account current global economic trends.
