An exhibition dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Turkmen-Malaysian oil and gas partnership opened in Ashgabat

A specialized exhibition dedicated to the 30th anniversary of cooperation between Turkmenistan and Malaysia in the oil and gas industry opened at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan in Ashgabat.

The exhibition brings together representatives of government agencies, leading energy companies, and the industry expert community. The exhibition showcases key achievements of bilateral partnerships, modern technological solutions, and promising projects in hydrocarbon exploration and production, offshore infrastructure, gas processing, petrochemicals, digitalization, and personnel training.

Participants include leading international companies Petronas, SLB (Schlumberger), Halliburton, Dragon Oil, Malaysia Petroleum Resources Corporation and Malaysia Marine and Heavy Engineering, as well as state concerns, research institutes and specialized educational institutions of Turkmenistan.

The exhibition is organized as part of the International Scientific and Practical Conference "Turkmenistan – Malaysia: 30 Years of Mutually Beneficial Cooperation in the Oil and Gas Industry." The forum served as a platform for discussing priority areas for energy cooperation, investment opportunities, resource development in the Turkmen sector of the Caspian Sea, the implementation of innovative technologies, and the expansion of international partnerships.

Following the conference, the exhibition was viewed by President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim, who was on an official visit to Ashgabat.

The specialized exhibition will continue on June 20.
