Events dedicated to the work of the great Turkmen poet and thinker Magtymguly Fragi took place in Tehran, the Turkmen Foreign Ministry reported.

On June 16, a cultural event dedicated to the poet's work was held at Khawarizmi University. The event was attended by the ambassadors of Turkmenistan and Tajikistan to Iran, the president of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) Institute of Culture, representatives of the Iranian Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Culture, and Iranian Turkmens. Participants presented reports on the work of Magtymguly Fragi, read his poems, performed songs, and also presented a number of stage productions related to Turkmen culture, art, and literature.

On June 17, the Institute of Culture of the Economic Cooperation Organization held a conference entitled "The Voice of Unity and Cultural Revival in the ECO Region," dedicated to the life and work of Magtymguly Fragi.

The conference was attended by diplomats, researchers of the poet's work, cultural and artistic figures, and representatives of the public.
