British singer Ed Sheeran announced his temporary retirement from the stage. According to the Daily Mail, the musician made the announcement during a concert in Glendale, Arizona.

"This is my last time on stage. I'll probably take a break after this tour and do some fatherhood," the publication quotes him as saying.

According to the Daily Mail, the musician hasn't seen his family since the start of his New Zealand tour in January 2026. Sheeran has two children—a son and a daughter—with Cherry Seaborn.

Ed Sheeran is one of the most streamed artists in the world, with an audience of approximately 86 million on Spotify. His hit "Shape of You" has accumulated nearly 5 billion streams.
