At a meeting of the Government of Turkmenistan on June 12, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed a resolution according to which the State Concern “Turkmennebit” is authorized to enter into a contract with Wuxi SP. Steel Tube Manufacturing Co., Ltd. (People's Republic of China) at its own expense for the purchase of casing and drill pipes in the required volume for drilling operations at production and exploratory wells.

The head of state noted that targeted work is underway to develop and modernize the domestic oil and gas industry. After signing the resolution, the head of state addressed a number of instructions to Deputy Prime Minister G. Agajanov, the State News Agency of Turkmenistan reports.
