Today, the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the Philippines (with residence in Tokyo) A. Bayramov took part in official events dedicated to the 128th anniversary of the independence of the Republic of the Philippines.

Within the framework of the events, he met with Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. The Ambassador also held discussions with Secretary of Foreign Affairs Teresa Lazaro and meetings with senior staff of the Philippine Department of Foreign Affairs, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

During the meetings, a wide range of bilateral issues were discussed in detail. Particular emphasis was placed on the prospects for intensifying trade and economic cooperation and deepening traditional cultural and humanitarian ties.

During the visit, Ambassador A. Bayramov also met with the Vice President of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) I. Yang, during which the parties discussed the practical implementation of joint projects.
