Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov congratulated his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin and Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin on Russia Day, the State News Agency of Turkmenistan reports.

"Today, our countries cooperate effectively across a wide range of areas," noted the President of Turkmenistan.

According to the agency, Serdar Berdimuhamedov also expressed confidence that, through joint efforts, the Turkmen-Russian strategic partnership will continue to develop dynamically for the benefit of the peoples of the two countries.

The President of Turkmenistan wished Putin and Mishustin good health and happiness, and the friendly people of the Russian Federation well-being and prosperity.
