On this occasion, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov sent a congratulatory message to the country's scientists, as well as to the forum participants.
"I sincerely congratulate you on Science Day and the opening of the international scientific conference, 'Science, Technology, and Innovative Technologies in the Renaissance of a New Era of a Powerful State!'" This year, declared "Independent Neutral Turkmenistan – the Homeland of Purposeful Winged Horses" and marked by grand events in honor of the 35th anniversary of great independence, we, as before, solemnly celebrate Science Day in the first days of sunny summer. Every triumph and every significant breakthrough on the path to the development of an independent, neutral Fatherland is the result of actions with an emphasis on achievements in the field of science and innovation. "And therefore, I am convinced that the events marking this remarkable holiday, as well as the conference timed to coincide with it, will inspire our citizens, especially the scientific community of Turkmenistan, to great achievements and strengthen their love for the Motherland!" the Address reads.
Fundamental, applied, theoretical and exploratory research is conducted at the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan and its constituent institutes, the International Science and Technology Park, and departmental research institutions. Their results, as well as the latest developments and technologies, are aimed at modernizing the manufacturing sector, creating an environmentally friendly and cyclical economic and production system – factories and plants, and building progressive cities and villages.
"We also pay special attention to the development of human capital in the country: to this end, comprehensive measures are being taken to train qualified engineers, technologists, and scientists possessing advanced knowledge and high professional competencies. “Furthermore, we organize internships for our scientists at leading foreign centers to improve their qualifications and conduct scientific research, and we also ensure their participation in international scientific research programs,” the President emphasized.
The international scientific conference "Science, Technology, and Innovative Technologies in the Renaissance of a New Era of a Powerful State," held in a hybrid format, will bring together representatives of reputable scientific and educational centers – scientists, professors, and teachers, as well as engineers and technologists.
"Such a broad range of participants fully demonstrates the growing interest of the global community in our scientific and technical policy, opening new horizons for international partnership," the head of state concluded, wishing everyone good health, a prosperous and happy life, and great success in scientific and creative endeavors in the name of universal development and in the interests of all humanity, the State News Agency of Turkmenistan reports.
