The "Professional Skills" competition was held on June 6 with the participation of students from vocational and secondary vocational schools in Turkmenistan.
The competition was organized by the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan in accordance with the standards of the professional competition "Worldskills" of the international association Worldskills International.
Participants were able to demonstrate their skills and abilities in such specialties as "Electrical Installation," "Tiling," "Bricklaying," "Plumbing," "Cooking," "Pastrymaking," and "Fashion and Sewing," and fiercely competed for the title of "Master of Their Craft," according to the ministry's website.
The competition jury consisted of representatives of industrial institutions and enterprises.
At the end of the competition, the winners were awarded diplomas and gifts.
Competition participants were also able to view a comprehensive exhibition dedicated to reforms in the country's national education system and the educational work carried out in vocational and secondary vocational educational institutions.
