Turkmenistan has appointed an ambassador to the Maldives. This appointment is Ambassador to India Shalar Geldynazarov.

As the State News Agency of Turkmenistan reports, the corresponding decree was signed by the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov.
