The United States supports the diversification of transportation routes for Turkmen natural gas, said Sarah Rogers, US Under Secretary of State for Public Diplomacy, at a press briefing in Ashgabat.

"Turkmenistan has the fourth largest natural gas reserves in the world, and we wish Turkmenistan the best in terms of developing and exporting these resources," she said.

Rogers emphasized that the cornerstone of US foreign policy is the desire to ensure that Washington's partners – including in the C5+1 format – are secure, strong, and prosperous.

Rogers' visit to Turkmenistan is part of a regional tour that also includes India, Nepal, and Uzbekistan. The trip aims to develop trade diplomacy, preserve cultural heritage, and promote digital freedom and innovation.
