“Mogotex” intends to develop cooperation with Turkmenistan in the light industry

“Mogotex”, the largest textile manufacturer in Belarus, plans to establish exports to Turkmenistan. This was announced by Andrei Kharkevich, head of the company's sales department, on the sidelines of the international exhibition and fair "Turkmentextile Expo – 2026," which is taking place in Ashgabat from June 4 to 6.

According to him, the company produces fabrics, special clothing, and uniforms, in which it has achieved significant results. Its customers include security forces and law enforcement agencies in Belarus and Russia. The company also supplies various fabrics, blended fabrics, curtains, and drapes to Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, and Moldova.

Kharkevich expressed confidence in the prospects for similar cooperation with Turkmenistan, noting the wide range of products presented on the company's official website.

He also explained that “Mogotex” is a flagship textile industry manufacturer and finished garment manufacturer in the Republic of Belarus. The company was founded in 1973.

Speaking about production capacity, Kharkevich reported that “Mogotex” produces approximately 2,5 million linear meters of fabric monthly and processes 6,5 thousand tons of raw material annually. Three factories—weaving, finishing, and sewing—employ 2300 people.

The international exhibition and fair "Turkmenextile Expo – 2026" is being held in Ashgabat from June 4 to 6.
