Little Alabay dogs and peacocks became the stars of a children's festival in “Ashgabat” park

On International Children's Day, June 1, the grand opening of a major children's festival, organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan jointly with UN agencies in Turkmenistan, took place in “Ashgabat” park. One of the most visited and vibrant venues at the event was the exhibition of the State Association of Livestock and Poultry Farming of Turkmenistan.

The association's specialists presented a variety of animals and birds to the young guests and their parents. The children were particularly interested in the Turkmen Alabay puppies, which they were able to not only see but also pet. Ducks, geese, peacocks, rabbits, lambs, porcupines, pheasants, and partridges were also on display.

Many children had the opportunity for the first time to meet animals up close, observe their habits, and take memorable photos. The visitors' greatest attention was drawn to the small alabay dogs and lambs, around which families with children gathered throughout the festival.

The festivities began at 10:00 with the grand opening ceremony. Following this, guests were treated to a rich program featuring themed areas, workshops, creative workshops, and sports activities.

The festival brought together children, parents, and representatives of various organizations, creating an atmosphere of joy and goodwill. The participation of the State Association of Livestock and Poultry Farming of Turkmenistan made the event not only entertaining but also educational, introducing young visitors to the country's rich wildlife.
