Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed a decree on the preparation of the draft state budget for 2027, as well as the main areas of socioeconomic development and the country's Investment Program, the State News Agency of Turkmenistan reported.

The document obligates the Ministry of Finance and Economy to submit relevant projects to the Cabinet of Ministers no later than November 1, 2026. By June 1, the agency must send calculation forms and guidelines for their compilation to ministries, regional administrations, and the cities of Ashgabat and Arkadag.

Furthermore, the Ministry has been instructed to form a working group of specialists to coordinate work on these documents.

The resolution was adopted in accordance with the Budget Code of Turkmenistan and the country's socio-economic development program for 2022-2028.
