Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov met with Kyrgyz Prime Minister Adylbek Kasymaliev, who arrived in Ashgabat on a working visit, the Kyrgyz Cabinet website reported.
The bilateral meeting took place on the sidelines of the regular meeting of the CIS Council of Heads of Government. During the talks, Kasymaliev conveyed greetings and best wishes from Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov to the Turkmen leader.
The parties discussed current issues of bilateral cooperation. Particular attention was paid to developing trade, economic, cultural, and humanitarian ties, as well as strengthening cooperation in energy and transportation.
