Another shipment of humanitarian aid from Uzbekistan has been delivered to Iran via the Turkmen-Iranian border, the Uzbek Foreign Ministry's press service reported.
A convoy of 15 trucks transported medications and medical supplies. The transfer took place at the Artyk-Lyutfobod checkpoint.
The ceremony was attended by the Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Turkmenistan Ravshan Alimov, the Ambassador of Iran to Turkmenistan Ali Mojtaba Rozbehani, the mayor of the city of Dargaz Mojtaba Bazmara, the representative of the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Khorasan Razavi Province Heydari Fard, as well as representatives of customs, medical and humanitarian organizations of the two countries.

The Iranian side thanked the President and people of Uzbekistan for their support. The Uzbek Foreign Ministry viewed the humanitarian initiative as a manifestation of friendship and solidarity between the two countries.
