Turkmenistan's parliamentarians visited the United States within the framework of the Open World program

A delegation of parliamentarians from Turkmenistan visited the United States as part of the Open World program. During the trip, the Turkmen lawmakers met with U.S. House of Representatives member Sidney Kamlager-Dove.

The meeting discussed the results of the C5+1 summit held last year, as well as prospects for developing interparliamentary cooperation between Turkmenistan and the United States.

"I was pleased to meet with parliamentarians from Turkmenistan visiting the United States as part of the Open World program. We discussed the results of last year's C5+1 summit, which I urged the Trump administration to organize, as well as the importance of exchanges with the legislative branch," Kamlager-Dove wrote on her X social media account.

The Open World program is implemented with the support of the US Congress and is aimed at developing contacts between legislative bodies of the United States and foreign countries.
