Drake released three albums in one night

Canadian rapper Drake released three studio albums simultaneously on the night of May 14–15, 2026. The releases took place at exactly midnight Eastern Time: along with the long-announced "Iceman," fans were unexpectedly treated to two more projects: "Maid of Honor" and "Habibti," Variety reports.

In total, the three albums include 43 new tracks and are released under the OVO Sounds label, exclusively licensed to Republic Records, part of Universal Music Group.

"Iceman" contains 18 tracks and features collaborations with Future, Molly Santana, and 21 Savage. "Maid of Honor" includes 14 songs featuring Stunna Sandy, Central Cee, Iconic Savvy, and Popcaan. "Habibti" consists of 11 tracks featuring Loe Shimmy and PartyNextDoor.

The triple drop was revealed at the very last minute: at the end of his YouTube stream "Iceman Episode 4," Drake pulled out three hard drives, after which the text "I did this so I could do this" appeared on the screen. The titles of two more surprise albums then appeared on the screen.

The new projects are the artist's ninth, tenth, and eleventh studio albums—his first since his high-profile feud with Kendrick Lamar in 2024.

Listeners and music critics are already scrutinizing the lyrics for references and hidden digs. "Iceman," in particular, features references to Kendrick Lamar, A$AP Rocky, Rihanna, and, according to some fans, Jay-Z.

Playboi Carti's homage to him sparked a particular backlash: on the track "Whisper My Name," the rapper accuses him of betrayal, using the line, "Baby, I heard what you said about me to my homie. When you meet me at ICEMAN, what you gonna do but freeze?" Music experts have labeled the track a full-blown diss.
