A meeting of trade union delegations from Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan took place in the capital of Azerbaijan.

During the talks, the parties discussed developing bilateral cooperation, strengthening partnerships, and exchanging experience in protecting workers' social and labor rights.

Following the meeting, the National Center of Trade Unions of Turkmenistan and the Confederation of Trade Unions of Azerbaijan signed a Memorandum of Understanding. The document was signed on behalf of Turkmenistan by Oguljennet Berdiliyeva, Chairperson of the National Center of Trade Unions of Turkmenistan, and on behalf of Azerbaijan by Sahib Mammedov, Chairperson of the Confederation of Trade Unions of Azerbaijan.

The signed memorandum is intended to promote further strengthening of cooperation between the trade union structures of the two countries and the implementation of joint initiatives.
