A Turkmen horse named Dovamat won the prize of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan

On May 9–10, the "Pearl of the East" equestrian competition and beauty contest were held in the Tashkent region of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The participation of select Ahal-Teke horses further enhanced the significance of the event, reports the State News Agency of Turkmenistan.

In the race for two-year-old Ahal-Teke horses for the prize of the State Concern "Turkmengaz" and the Ministry of Energy of Uzbekistan, a chestnut mare named Pula from the "Uzbegim otlari" stud farm took first place. In a tight race, Gadymydag, owned by the Ahal-Teke Equestrian Complex of the President of Turkmenistan, finished second. A stallion named Gazaplı from the same complex crossed the finish line in third.

In the 1600-meter race for Ahal-Teke horses four years and older for the President of Turkmenistan Prize, a horse named Muattor-khon, owned by the Uzbekistan Stud Farm, came in first. Gunesh, owned by the Ashgabat Equestrian Complex, came in second.

Then, in the 1600-meter race for Ahal-Teke horses four years and older for the Prize of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the winner was Dovamat from the Ahal-Teke Equestrian Complex of the President of Turkmenistan. In the next race, Begzada from the Ahal-Teke Equestrian Complex of the President of Turkmenistan finished second.

The winning jockeys and trainers were ceremoniously presented with cups, certificates of honor, and valuable gifts. The skilled jockey and trainer of the horse Dovamat, who brought glory to the "heavenly" horses with his magnificent victory, was presented with the prize of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan – the keys to a modern car, cups, and certificates of honor. Skilled jockey P. Orazov and national horse breeder of Turkmenistan K. Agamyradov joyfully accepted the prestigious international award.
