Teams from the S.A. Niyazov Turkmen Agricultural University and the Myrat Garryev State Medical University of Turkmenistan successfully represented Turkmenistan at the II Global Sustainable Development Innovation Competition in Denpasar, Indonesia, according to "Turkmenistan: Golden Age."

The agricultural university team included Meretmuhammet Hojanepesov, a lecturer in the Department of Information Systems and Digital Technologies, Yaran Hudayberdiyev, a first-year master's student majoring in Agricultural Economics and Management, and Batyr Hudayberdiyev, a second-year student majoring in Information Systems and Technologies (Agriculture). They presented a research project, "Design and Optimization of an Autonomous Solar Distillation System for Arid Regions," which received high praise from the jury of the international competition.

A team of fourth-year students from the Turkmen Medical University, led by a faculty member from the Department of Medical Ecology and Hygiene, presented their research project, "Ways to Solve Environmental Problems in the Aral Sea." The project was highly praised by international experts and jury members for its innovation and practical significance.

Following the international competition, both Turkmen teams won an honorable second place and were awarded winner's diplomas and silver medals.
