A concert by composer Aina Shirova took place at the Turkmen Conservatory

A concert by composer Aina Shirova was a success at the Maya Kuliyeva Turkmen National Conservatory.

The program featured works across various genres: vocal and instrumental, for both adults and children.

Among the performers was the Mukam Violin Ensemble, artistic director of which is People's Artist of Turkmenistan G. Neimark. The ensemble premiered their new composition, "Mama's Waltz," and also performed "Lights of Novruz," a piece they triumphantly performed at a TURKSOY festival.

Vocalists Ayjeren Abdullaeva and Bahar Durdyeva, and violinist Leyli Salyhova also took part in the concert. The Melodiya Orchestra, conducted by Annaoraz Dovletov, provided a celebratory chord. The orchestra performed "Walk in the Rain," the waltz "Immortal Regiment," and premiered the composition "Pipe."

During the concert, the audience was offered a composer's game with musical riddles hidden in the score.

At the conclusion of the musical evening, Ayna Shirova invited the audience to co-author a new composition. The musical theme was performed, and the audience was asked to decide how it would continue and what instruments would be used. Taking all requests into account, the composer will complete this work and perform it at a future concert.
