The recently opened "Lu Ban Workshop" at the Turkmen oil and gas university will train highly qualified specialists for the national economy.
The workshop will train young specialists in the bachelor's degree programs "Geology and Mineral Exploration" and "Information Systems and Technologies (in the Oil and Gas Industry)," according to the website tngizt.gov.tm.
Continuing education courses will also be held for faculty and Chinese specialists working in Turkmenistan.
Students from specialized universities in Turkmenistan and China will undergo summer training and internships here.
The “Lu Ban Workshop” includes two geological laboratories, four information technology rooms, a server room, a small conference room, and offices for teachers.
As a reminder, the “Lu Ban Workshop” in Turkmenistan was opened at the Yagshygeldi Kakayev International University of Oil and Gas in accordance with cooperation agreements with Xi'an Petroleum University, Hebei Petroleum Vocational and Technical University, China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC), and the China Association for International Educational Exchange.
The project aims to train specialists needed for the country's economy by strengthening scientific and educational ties between Turkmenistan and China.
