The semifinal stages of three European club competitions began with surprises and exciting encounters. The first legs of the semifinals of the Champions League, Europa League, and Conference League took place from April 28 to 30.

The highlight of the semifinal week was the incredible match between Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich. On April 28, the Parisians won 5-4 in a match that will go down in Champions League history. Nine goals scored made it the highest-scoring match at this stage of the competition this season. Despite PSG's decisive victory, their one-goal lead leaves much to be desired ahead of the return leg in Munich.

In the other semifinal of the main European Cup on April 29, Atlético Madrid and Arsenal London failed to determine the winner, drawing 1-1. Both clubs retained an equal chance of reaching the final.

On April 30, a crucial derby between two English clubs took place in the Europa League. Nottingham Forest defeated Aston Villa 1-0 at home, gaining a slight advantage heading into the return leg in Birmingham.

In the second semi-final, Portuguese side Braga defeated German side Freiburg 2-1 at home, giving the Portuguese side a good chance of reaching the final.

In Europe's third-largest club competition, Ukraine's Shakhtar suffered a 1-3 home defeat to England's Crystal Palace. In another match, Spain's Rayo Vallecano secured a narrow home victory over France's Strasbourg, 1-0.

The second legs of the Champions League semi-finals will be held on May 5-6, and the Europa League and Conference League semi-finals will be held on May 7. The finals are scheduled for May 30 in Budapest (Champions League), May 20 in Istanbul (Europa League), and May 27 in Leipzig (Conference League).
