Ashgabat-based architectural studio "SARY" is participating in the competition to design Turkmenistan's pavilion for the EXPO 2027 World Expo, which will be held in Belgrade, Serbia. The company announced this.

The studio specializes in comprehensive architectural design, from concept to construction supervision. Its portfolio includes residential, commercial, and recreational projects, as well as design work for the international cafe chain Drinkit (DODO Brands).

SARY's most famous project remains the headquarters of Ýüpekçi: in 2025, it reached the finals of the World Architecture Festival, one of the most prestigious events in global architecture. Furthermore, the project received a German Design Award, a diploma from the Association of International Unions of Architects, and a special award from the Union of Architects of Serbia at the Zodchestvo 2025 international exhibition in Moscow.

Participation in the EXPO 2027 competition is not the studio's debut on international platforms: its specialists previously worked on the design of the Turkmen pavilion at the World Expo 2025 in Japan.
