Turkmen mixed martial artist Dovletjan Yagshimuradov (25-8-1) will face Australian Tyson Pedro (10-5) on April 16 at a PFL event in Belfast. The bout is scheduled for a welterweight bout. The broadcast begins at 23:30 Ashgabat time.

In the league's current rankings, Yagshimuradov is ranked second, while Pedro is ranked eighth. The upcoming fight will be the Australian fighter's PFL debut; two years ago, he announced his retirement after leaving the UFC.

The current PFL welterweight champion is American Corey Anderson (20-6, 1 NC), who defeated Yagshimuradov by decision in their title fight at a PFL event in Dubai in October 2025. The Turkmen fighter has held the ACB and ACA titles in various years, and in 2024, he won the PFL Light Heavyweight Grand Prix.
