Belarusian tour operator BelIndTravel is interested in promoting the Turkmen destination for Belarusian tourists. This was announced by the company's CEO, Alexander Krotov, on the sidelines of the International Tourism Exhibition and Conference "Turkmentravel – 2026."
According to him, the most attractive attractions for Belarusian travelers include the Kov-Ata underground lake, historical and ethnographic sites, national cuisine, and the Avaza National Tourist Zone.
Meanwhile, the reverse tourist flow—from Turkmenistan to Belarus—already has a solid foundation. Krotov noted that the two countries' tourism partnership has been developing for over ten years, and a significant proportion of Turkmen tourists are parents of students studying at Belarusian universities. For them, the company is developing special excursion programs that combine visiting loved ones with cultural experiences.
BelIndTravel presented more than ten categories at the exhibition: patriotic tourism – the Brest Fortress and the Khatyn Memorial Complex; ecological routes – Belovezhskaya Pushcha and UNESCO sites; and industrial tourism – excursions to the BELAZ plant.
"Every guest will find a destination to their liking here. We strive to continually expand our cooperation with our Turkmen partners," concluded Krotov.
The "Turkmentravel – 2026" exhibition and conference will be held in Ashgabat from April 14 to 16.
