Today, Turkmenistan's Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov received copies of the credentials of the new Italian Ambassador to Turkmenistan, Martin Bruck.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the current state and prospects for developing Turkmen-Italian cooperation in trade, economic, investment, and cultural and humanitarian areas.

The positive experience of interaction on international platforms, primarily within the UN, was also emphasized.

In the context of developing interstate cooperation in the humanitarian sphere, the significance of the archaeological exhibition "Ancient Civilizations of Turkmenistan," which opened last year and continued until April of this year, was noted.

The parties also expressed support for continuing the practice of holding business forums with the participation of leading business circles of the two countries, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan reported.
