The new season of the Turkmenistan Futsal Super League has started

The new season of the Turkmenistan Futsal Super League kicked off in Turkmenabat at the sports complex of the 10th Sports School of the Main Department of Physical Culture and Sports of the Lebap velayat. The Football Federation of Turkmenistan announced this.

On the first day of the games, the teams from Group B played matches: Denizchi defeated Nesil with a score of 7:1, and the team from the Turkmenbashy oil processing complex (TOPC) beat Migration with a score of 7:5.

Eight teams are vying for the national championship title this season. Three clubs – Kopetdag, Senagatbank, and Migratsiya – represent Ashgabat, Denizchi and TOPC represent the Balkan velayat, and Farap, Gumrukchi, and Nesil represent the Lebap velayat.

The participants were divided into two groups: Group A included Kopetdag, Farap, Senagatbank and Gumrukchi, and Group B included Denizchi, Nesil, Migratsiya and TOPC.

According to the competition regulations, the first stage of the tournament will be held in the Lebap and Mary velayats and will include a preliminary round consisting of two rounds. The top teams will advance to the final round, scheduled for this fall.

As a reminder, the winners of the recently concluded 2025 Super League were announced on the eve of the start of the new season. Ashgabat Kopetdag forward Gurbangeldy Sakhedov was named the tournament's best player, and his teammate Mulkaman Annaguliyev was named the top scorer.

Ahmet Kervenov, the head coach of Ahal, won the title of best coach, as his team finished third. Denizchi's Rehimberdi Halmammedov was named best goalkeeper. The Fair Play award was presented by the Turkmenbashy oil processing complex, and referee Mekan Toyliyev was named best referee.
