On April 11, the Turkmen Agricultural Institute held its traditional "Open Doors Day."

Approximately 400 schoolchildren who attended the event were warmly and cordially welcomed by the institute's faculty and leaders of public organizations, according to the university's website.

The event included the following events for schoolchildren:

Interdisciplinary Olympiads in mathematics, physics, biology, and chemistry;

A scientific competition entitled "Agricultural Science: The Future in the Hands of Youth."

Schoolchildren from the Lebap and Mary velayats also participated in these competitions. The winners with the best results were awarded first, second, and third-degree diplomas on behalf of the institute's rector's office.

The students toured the classrooms, reading room, cultural center, student dormitories, and sports and training grounds.

The event, which has become a tradition at the university, is being held with the aim of selecting motivated, educated young people to replace graduates.
