The Embassy of Turkmenistan in Islamabad hosted a meeting with representatives of the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry, led by its Secretary General, Shahid Khalil, who expressed interest in exploring opportunities to expand practical trade and economic cooperation with Turkmenistan.

The Turkmen side noted the country's growing trade and export potential. Particular attention was paid to the international business forums planned for this year, which traditionally bring together hundreds of business representatives from around the world.

At the end of the meeting, the parties confirmed their interest in finding ways to expand mutually beneficial trade between the two countries, the Turkmen Foreign Ministry reported.
