On April 7, a cultural event in honor of Nowruz was held at UNESCO headquarters in Paris. It was jointly organized by the Permanent Delegations of Turkmenistan, Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, India, Iran, Iraq, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Pakistan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, the event included a rich cultural program, including a concert, a tasting of national dishes, and a thematic exhibition.

The Embassy of Turkmenistan displayed traditional hand-woven carpets, national jewelry, and souvenirs reflecting the rich cultural heritage of the Turkmen people at its exhibition stand. Guests were also treated to a tasting of national Turkmen cuisine.

The musical performances drew particular attention from the participants, featuring compositions performed on traditional Turkmen instruments, including the dutar and gyjak. The artists' performance was warmly received by the audience.

Turkmen designer Govher Pirkuliyeva showcased the beauty of national costumes alongside works by designers from Azerbaijan and Tajikistan.
