Chinese premium cars TANK 300, 500 and Haval produced by Great Wall Motors (GWM) are presented at the universal international exhibition "Cooperation and Development" in Ashgabat.

"Our stand features five or six models. In the premium segment, we have the TANK 300 and 500 from Great Wall Motors. A distinctive feature of all our vehicles is their frame construction and double glazing," Mered Orazov, GWM's sales manager in Turkmenistan, told a Turkmenportal correspondent.

According to him, the Chinese automaker's vehicles are equipped with seat massage and ventilation, heating, and heated windshields with coils. "The cars are very comfortable and have excellent off-road capability. Ninety percent of our models are all-wheel drive," Orazov added.

All vehicles come with a three-year warranty. Service centers are already operating in Ashgabat and Mary. A financing program is planned to launch soon; cash payments are currently available.

Speaking about the prospects of the Chinese auto industry in the Turkmen market, the manager expressed confidence in its growth. "I am convinced that in the next two to three years, the share of Chinese cars in the Turkmen market will grow significantly. In terms of quality and price, they are second to none," he noted.

GWM is among the top five largest automakers in the world by sales volume, with over 2,5 million units sold annually. Since February of last year, the company has sold over 60 vehicles in Turkmenistan, purchased by government agencies, private businesses, and ordinary citizens, Orazov noted.
