Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov congratulated the participants and guests of the universal international exhibition "Cooperation and Development," the State News Agency of Turkmenistan reported.

"I cordially congratulate you on the opening of the universal international exhibition 'Cooperation and Development,' taking place in the white-marble capital of Turkmenistan," the president said in his address.

Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that exhibitions and business forums regularly held in the country and abroad contribute to the popularization of Turkmenistan's economic potential, the development of mutually beneficial cooperation, and the exchange of advanced technologies.

The head of state emphasized that Turkmenistan is implementing state programs aimed at innovative economic development, attracting foreign investment, and expanding foreign economic ties. He stated that economic diversification and modernization, as well as the digitalization of all sectors of activity, provide a reliable foundation for the country's continued dynamic development.

Serdar Berdimuhamedov also noted that Turkmenistan, consistently pursuing an "open door" policy, has established cooperation with major companies from over 100 countries. The President expressed confidence that the exhibition will facilitate the establishment of new business contacts and the development of multilateral international cooperation.

As previously reported, approximately 100 domestic and international companies have confirmed their participation in the "Cooperation and Development" exhibition. The exhibition will showcase equipment and machinery, metal products, construction materials, chemicals, and other goods. The exhibition will run until April 4.
