Two specialists from the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan took part in the Second International Scientific and Practical Conference "Artificial Intelligence in Customs", which was held from September 2 to 3 in the village of Baet in the Issyk-Kul region of Kyrgyzstan. This was reported by the Customs Service of Turkmenistan.
The event was organized by the State Customs Service of the Kyrgyz Republic together with international development partners, including the International Organization GIZ.
The participants focused on improving the security and transparency of cross-border trade, accelerating customs procedures, effectively identifying high-risk cargo, and combating illegal trade in goods.
The participants shared practical experience in implementing AI, discussed real-life cases, studied lessons from successful projects, and developed recommendations for scaling artificial intelligence technologies in customs activities, the source notes.
