Turkmen MMA fighter Dovletjan Yagshimuradov and US representative Corey Anderson will hold a rematch for the PFL light heavyweight title on October 3 in Dubai (UAE). This was reported on the official website of the organization.
The rivals first met in April 2021 at Bellator 257, where Anderson won via TKO in the third round. Now the fighters will meet in another organization with the title on the line.
Anderson defeated Denis Goltsov by technical knockout in the second round at the PFL tournament in South Africa in July 2025. The American has 19 wins, six losses and one fight declared a no contest.
Yagshimuradov, in turn, has 25 wins, seven losses and one draw. In November 2024, Yagshimuradov defeated Impa Kasanganay in the PFL Light Heavyweight Grand Prix final. The fight ended with a knockout in the first round.
