The Turkmenistan pavilion, erected by the Turkmen architectural and construction company ES "Belli" at the World Expo 2025 in Osaka, received high praise from the international audience and was among the three most impressive national expositions according to the results of surveys among visitors.
The architectural concept of the pavilion organically combines the rich cultural heritage of Turkmenistan with modern technological solutions. Thanks to this, the pavilion confidently declares itself as a significant cultural and exhibition facility on the global arena.
The three-storey pavilion building is constructed according to a thematic principle, revealing different facets of Turkmen identity, achievements and potential.
The first floor is an immersive space with a large spherical screen and a multimedia installation that allows you to take a virtual journey around Turkmenistan. Visitors get acquainted with the nature, history and culture of the country through new-generation audiovisual effects. The second floor is dedicated to industry achievements: in energy, industry, healthcare, education, sports and science. The central place is occupied by an exposition of medicinal plants, reflecting the rich traditions of Turkmen medicine.The third floor functions as a cultural center. It features authentic Turkmen carpets, examples of traditional embroidery, museum artifacts, and decorative and applied arts. There is also a national restaurant where guests can try Turkmen cuisine prepared from environmentally friendly products. The space is complemented by an open terrace with traditional Turkmen gazebos.
The World Expo 2025 is being held from April 13 to October 13 on the artificial island of Yumeshima in Osaka bay under the theme "Creating a future society for our lives." Organizers expect more than 28 million visitors from around the world.
Turkmenistan National Day was celebrated on April 14, immediately after the official opening of EXPO. On this day, the President of Turkmenistan visited the pavilion, took part in the official ceremony and left a memorable entry in the book of honored guests.
The success of the pavilion, built by the architectural and construction company ES "Belli", confirms the growing role of Turkmenistan in global cultural and economic processes, as well as the high level of national design, construction and international presentation.
