Karaganda University named after E.A. Buketov together with the IT company ItByDesign presented the first free online legal consultation service in the country LegalExpert.kz based on artificial intelligence.
The system operates in real time and helps citizens resolve legal issues - from labor disputes to complex situations in civil, administrative and criminal law. The user only needs to register on the site and ask a question in free form in Kazakh or Russian.
The AI assistant analyzes the request, asks clarifying questions if necessary, and within a few minutes provides step-by-step instructions, links to laws, examples of court decisions, and a forecast of possible outcomes of the case.
The service is trained on the basis of the current legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, hundreds of thousands of court decisions and regulatory decisions of the Supreme Court. The creators emphasize that LegalExpert.kz does not replace full-fledged legal assistance, but covers most typical requests.
