National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov met with the executive director of the Japanese company Kawasaki Heavy Industries Ltd. Kenji Sanada.
As the State News Agency of Turkmenistan reports, the parties noted that the development of a constructive dialogue with the states of the Asia-Pacific region is one of the strategic directions of Turkmenistan's foreign economic policy. Particular importance is attached to strengthening ties with Japan as a long-standing reliable partner.
Trade and economic cooperation between the two countries is carried out at a high level, and business ties are successfully developing in various fields. Japanese companies have proven themselves to be reliable partners in the implementation of large projects for the construction of industrial complexes in Turkmenistan.
During the meeting, the effectiveness of long-term cooperation with Kawasaki, which participated in the implementation of a number of important projects in the country, was noted. The negotiators also considered new projects.
Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov emphasized the significant potential for further development of bilateral cooperation and confirmed Turkmenistan’s readiness to consider Kawasaki’s proposals in the field of innovative projects.
Kenji Sanada expressed gratitude to the Turkmen leadership for the opportunities created for operating in the country and assured the company of its readiness to fulfill its partnership obligations.
At the end of the meeting, the parties exchanged wishes for further successful cooperation.
