On June 13, a series of expert presentations and discussions with the participation of world fashion stars will be held as part of the TurkmenTextile Expo-2025 exhibition in Ashgabat. Leading designers from Kazakhstan, Great Britain, France, Belgium and Singapore will share their experience with their Turkmen colleagues, discuss sustainable development of the industry and the synthesis of traditions with modern trends.
Key speakers include Aidarkhan Kaliyev (ASPARA Fashion Week), who will explore the theme of neo-folklore in fashion, Omar Mansur (London Fashion Week) with a master class on eco-friendly fashion business, and Govher Guverne, who will combine national motifs with global trends. Special attention will be paid to innovations in textiles – Elena Khoritonova will present European production technologies.
The program will conclude with a roundtable discussion with Hayden Ng (ASEAN Fashion Designers Showcase), where they will discuss how cultural heritage influences global fashion. The event will be held at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan, opening up new opportunities for collaboration between designers from the East and West.
